Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19 we have no choice but to cancel this tour, rather than reschedule again. We will get Eilen and the band back here as soon as possible.
“Dear good folks of Australia and New Zealand,
It saddens me to have to say this, but I simply can’t return to your beautiful countries this year after all. As many of you may know, our tour that was scheduled for March had to be postponed until November due to the global pandemic that has taken over life as we know it. Now it happens that our November tour has to be cancelled as well. The world just doesn’t have a grip on this virus the way we all hoped we would by now. This pains me more than I can say. I worry for the future of independent venues, artists, agents and touring companies the world over. I worry about music lovers everywhere and my fellow humans in general. And, quite simply, I miss your lovely faces. I miss seeing you. But I know that, when the time is right and it’s safe to do so, we will make the journey to you, and the reunion will be that much sweeter after all this time apart. In the meantime, stay healthy, stay safe and try to keep your chin up. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Remember, we’re all in this together.

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to suspend all live shows at Meeniyan Town Hall until further notice due to public health concerns surrounding COVID-19.
The advice being disseminated from public health officials and government bodies is constantly being updated. All we can do is monitor the situation closely. We look forward to us all, musicians and fans alike, coming through this time safely and enjoying the music together in the near future.
We had intended to re-schedule the Eilen Jewell show for November, giving you the choice to hold your tickets until that time, or be refunded.

Love Police Touring is pleased to announce that superb Americana singer-songwriter Eilen Jewell and her band will be back in Australia in March 2020 for a very special show in support of her latest album Gypsy.
The reigning Queen of the Minor Key, Jewell leads a tight quartet that blends influences of surf-noir, early blues, classic country, folk, and 1960s era rock ’n’ roll. For well over a decade, they’ve toured relentlessly for legions of fans from Boston to Boise and Madrid to Melbourne, playing large festivals, theatres, rock clubs, and coffeehouses and have shared stages with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Loretta Lynn, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson, George Jones, Emmylou Harris, and Blind Boys of Alabama.
Supporting Eilen will be extraordinaires Shane O’Mara and Shane Reilly, who will be debuting their brand new band, The Plagiarists at Meeniyan Town Hall. Taking inspiration from icons such as Ry Cooder, Manuel Galbán (Buena Vista Social Club), The Beach Boys, and Blake Mills, The Plagiarists sees a seasoned and ineffably talented troupe of musicians performing the smooth, hypnotic, and rootsy music that made them who they are; be sure to catch them in their unmissable opening slot.
